Here’s how it works:

The Public:

1. Buys an empty tin ($20, $35 or $50) and fill it with delicious homemade treats baked by our Angel Alliance Junior Board and friends.
2. Joins us for the holiday fun: Celebrity Judges, Raffle Prizes, Girl-Made gifts for sale and more.
3. Brings the gift tin home to family for the holidays, gifts it to friends and co-workers or secretly enjoys it themselves.

The Bakers:

1. Sign up to bake by emailing lauren@girlsclub.org by Tuesday, December 3
2. Hunt for Grandma’s special recipe (okay to use a cookbook or ask friends for their recipes if Grandma didn’t bake.)
3. Bake a minimum of 6 dozen cookies, and a ½ dozen for the judges (okay to invite friends over to help you bake).
4. Name your cookie (for signage purposes, e.g. “Santa’s Favorite”, “Grandma Vera’s Best,” etc.)
5. Send recipe and ingredient list (for signage purposes, also if you give permission we will post online after the holidays.) If there is a “story” about your cookie, we’d love that also. Pics of Grandma, dogs and cats allowed.
6. Invite all your friends and everyone else you know to come to the Girls Club

On Saturday December 15th, there will be music, free hot drinks and lots of Joy!

The Judges:

1. Judges will taste your cookie and decide.
2. (We have no idea how they do this. They’re the pros…)
