For the third year in a row, we are exhibiting in Photoville, a free outdoor photo destination with over 90+ exhibitors. This year our installation is titled Water is a Women’s Issue; a national collaborative project organized by the Lower Eastside Girls Club, which examines how water impacts women’s bodies, our home communities, and our daily life.
The Loisaida United Neighborhood Gardens (LUNGS) is dedicating a day to the Lower East Side’s Gardens. Join us on our Rooftop Farm for private tours at 11 AM and 1 PM, given by our very own LESGC members.

WALK-A-THON A fun parade winding through the parks and streets of the East Village and ending at an "old school" Girls Club-style block party, where we'll be dancing to the beats of the Girls Club’s own Avenue DJs. The Health & Wellness Fair and Block Party will host an array of community health providers and organizations, street games and participatory activities, healthy food for purchase, and our Fair Trade & Girl Made products for sale. Teams gather outside the Lower Eastside Girls Club at 10:30 AM to register for the walk. At 11:15 AM, the Brooklyn Express Drumline Marching Band will kick-off the Walk-A-Thon with their energetic rhythms and beats.HOW IT WORKS Sign up your team or become a team captain at girlsclub.org/walkathon Gather 10 or more people to form a team.
