Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, but you don’t have to wait until then to vote! Here are three ways you can vote: Register to Vote Friday, October 9 There’s still time! Submit your voter registration online at:  www.ny.gov/services/register-vote Not sure if you’re registered? Check your voter status at: www.nycvotersearch.com VOTE EARLY Saturday, October 24 – Sunday, November 1 Note: your early voting poll site may be different from your regular poll site. Confirm the correct location at: nyc.pollsitelocator.com VOTE BY MAIL Request your mail-in (absentee) ballot anytime before Tuesday, October 27th. Return your ballot by mail by Tuesday, November 3rd. You can also drop off your absentee ballot at an early voting poll site between October 24–November 1, or at a poll site on Election Day: Tuesday, November 3. Join us for music, dancing, street games and activities; and a selection of our La Tiendita products for sale. The Block Party for Community Health & Wellness will host an array of community health partners who will share valuable resources and information.WHYThis year’s Walk-A-Thon will support the Center for Wellbeing & Happiness, our newest initiative which provides free, wrap-around wellness services to all genders and all generations in the Lower East Side. Earth Day Celebration & Growing Abolition Opening at MoMA PS1

Join us for a celebration of Earth Day, featuring music, art-making workshops, and opportunities to seed a new green space at MoMA PS1. The day marks both the closing of Slow Factory’s The Revolution is a School in Homeroom, and the unveiling of jackie sumell & The Lower Eastside Girls Club: Growing Abolition, a new project unfolding around a greenhouse in the side courtyard of PS1 offering points of connection between environmental justice and prison abolition. To celebrate the dialogue forged between these projects, Slow Factory will host a series of musical performances and hands-on workshops on themes of sustainability and climate justice. Bring your used clothing for opportunities to repair, print on, or recycle the textiles. Visitors of all ages will also be invited to participate in the seeding of planters for the greenhouse, a project which continues PS1’s commitment to exploring urban green spaces as places of creativity, community building, and solidarity.
