By delivering strong arts, literacy, science, health and leadership programs we provide girls with the vision to plan – and the tools to build – their future. We’ll also be featuring guest performances by the Kim Clarke Quartet, an all-women jazz ensemble; Moon Moon Moo, Dai Burger with Lynelle Whichard's Kids Ensemble, RKHTY, Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir and many more!

WALK-A-THON A fun parade winding through the parks and streets of the East Village and ending at an "old school" Girls Club-style block party, where we'll be dancing to the beats of the Girls Club’s own Avenue DJs. The Health & Wellness Fair and Block Party will host an array of community health providers and organizations, street games and participatory activities, healthy food for purchase, and our Fair Trade & Girl Made products for sale. Teams gather outside the Lower Eastside Girls Club at 10:30 AM to register for the walk. At 11:15 AM, the Brooklyn Express Drumline Marching Band will kick-off the Walk-A-Thon with their energetic rhythms and beats.HOW IT WORKS Sign up your team or become a team captain at girlsclub.org/walkathon Gather 10 or more people to form a team.
