Ready for Christmas? Check out this Girl-Made animation and short film created by our members, premiering today as part of the 2018 Creepy Christmas Film Festival! The online festival, dreamed up by artist and Girls Club instructor Beck Underwood ten years ago, features 25 days of spooky shorts, each created by a different filmmaker.

Since 1996, the Lower Eastside Girls Club has supported young women and gender-expansive youth of color throughout NYC in leveraging their inner power to shape a better future for themselves, their community, and the world.
In 2022, we expanded our mission with the Center for Wellbeing & Happiness, to provide free, full-spectrum wellness services for all generations and genders on the Lower East Side.
Together, we are building a just and equitable future filled with “Joy. Power. Possibility.”
